On July 3, 2017, NSFC President Prof. Yang Wei signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Natural Science Foundation of the People’s Republic of China and the Mongolian Foundation for Science and Technology of Mongolian People’s Republic with the Mongolian Foundation for Science and Technology(MFST) President Prof. DamdinEnkhjargal in Beijing. Mongolia is an important country on the Belt and Road, NSFC and MFST will, under the MoU,promote substantivescience and technology cooperation between the two countries and create benefits to the people.
